Hey Natalie , I love your photo at the top of the page ! It is funny how something so large can hide in the shadow of it's own darkness when the sun is so bright on the other side and that sky is so wonderful !
It so strange that you would post this right now . I am working on a class that shows how wonderful science can be when you view it through the Bible . I've been into science in a big way starting before the 1st grade while working with magnets . That was over 45 years ago ! God gives us so many things of science that we are just now starting to discover . I agree with you there are some so called religious people who claim to be of Christ who though their ignorance of the Bible and of science try to reject it but the religious people called atheist worship Evolution of atoms to man , that they can not prove and will never will . They make assumtions that they all must agree on by faith and not by science and they fight hard not to allow anyone to follow the path where the evidence leds if it points away from their god of materialism . If one wants pure science they have no fear to follow the evidence and keep an open mind and never beat down others who question what is popular at the time .

Hey Barry,
Thanks for your comment on my photo. :) I took it last year when I was in Colorado, though in my case it reminded me of something magnificent in America (hence I named it Majestic).
Having argued for both sides, I think it's fair for me to comment on this. First off, Barry, evolution is proven just like gravity is proven. There is plenty of evidence for it, and the only reason it's called a "theory of evolution" is that we can never actually go back in time and test it, much in the same way that we can't know for sure with 100% that the force of gravity is what pulls falling objects down. We don't worship evolution, by the way. :)
If there's a transcript anywhere for these videos, I'd read that. I suppose if worst comes to worst I could just watch all these videos (but probably waste a lot of time doing that) but there's probably a lot of websites out there with the exact same arguments. The DNA argument, for instance - that DNA is information and therefore an intelligent being had to "start" it. There have actually been experiments done that showed that polymers and organic substances (RNA, etc.) could form from inorganic substances under specific conditions. Of course, like any other theory, scientists keep testing this. We don't simply say, "Goddidit!" when we don't know the answer. The exploration and probing of nature goes on. =)
Barry, no one is running away from evolution except for creationists. It is not a substitution to cry out, "There's no God!" I mean, come on, Catholics and probably at least a few other religious sects believe in - no, sorry, accept evolution. Evolution is to be accepted, not believed. That is the big thing. It has been tested over and over - at least from what we CAN test, and there is evidence for it, not just popular belief. If there is a plausible theory out there that seems to be better than evolution, scientists will test it. The new will replace the old, if truth is discovered. That's the thing - I'm not afraid to accept new things and to question.
Anyway, please find me some transcripts for these videos. Or some site that has the same arguments. If you really want me to, I'll watch them, I guess.
